A testament to our city's ability to offer exquisite design experiences to visitors, Hong Kong proudly boasts two hotels on the esteemed World's 50 Best Hotels 2023 list.

50 Best, a highly respected organisation known for recognising exceptional bars and eateries worldwide, recently unveiled its inaugural ranking of the World's 50 Best Hotels. This fresh compilation brings exceptional lodging experiences into the spotlight, igniting wanderlust among passionate travelers as they map out their next escapade. The list encompasses hotels that span 35 destinations around the world, with two of the top spots belonging to Hong Kong.

Rosewood Hong Kong, one of the hottest hotels in Hong Kong since its grand opening in the year 2019, claimed second place on the list, cementing its reputation for excellence in the hospitality industry. The hotel showcases designer Tony Chi's exquisite taste and attention to detail in every corner. With over 80% of rooms boasting stunning harbour views, and the remaining rooms featuring picturesque Kowloon Peak views, the hotel's décor is carefully curated to reflect Hong Kong's rich history. The rooms are fitted with carefully selected objects for an elevated homely feel, spacious marble bathrooms with freestanding soaking baths, separate vanities, twin showers, and roomy walk-in closets.

The Upper House, a luxury boutique hotel in the busy Admiralty district of Hong Kong, has secured the fourth spot on the list. Designed by renowned interior architect, Andre Fu, the hotel's interiors cultivates intimacy and tranquillity by seamlessly blending organic materials, original sculptures and harmonious spaces. The design boasts a modern-oriental style, centered on symmetry and balanced geometry offering the comfort of a grand residence. The oriental colour palette, employing bamboo and lacquered panels, imparts an international flavour to the overall scheme. The designer successfully created a cosmopolitan refuge for discerning travellers.
